Building an AI-powered PlantCare AI app in just 20 minutes
Yesterday, we hosted another AI Native School Demo Day, where students and parents got a hands-on introduction to building with AI. The session demonstrated that, with the right guidance and today's AI tools, students can build a real AI-powered application in less than 20 minutes.
During the live session with students, we built PlantCare AI, an intelligent web application that helps users identify plant issues and receive AI-powered care recommendations. Rather than focusing on complex programming, the session showed students how to think like creators by planning an idea, designing the user experience, and using AI to turn that idea into a polished, working application.

Throughout the session, students learned:
- How to turn an idea into a real product
- How AI can dramatically speed up app development
- The importance of logical thinking and problem-solving
- How beginners can build professional-looking AI applications
- Why hands-on projects are one of the best ways to learn modern technology

Demo Days are a regular part of AI Native School and are designed to give students and parents a glimpse into our project-based learning approach. Every session focuses on building something practical while introducing students to the mindset of creating with AI rather than simply using it.
Whether students are completely new to AI or already experimenting with technology, our live sessions are structured so everyone can follow along, ask questions, and complete the project step by step.
More Demo Days are coming soon, each featuring a new AI-powered project and fresh opportunities to learn. You can also join the waitlist for the demo sessions.
